  1. More darkroom trickery using Lithographic film, the very high
  2. contrast material used in the news paper and other such printing
  3. industries.

  5. The original negative was enlarged onto a piece of Lith film.
  6. This is only about 1/8 th of the original 35 mm. negative !!!

  8. The resulting Lith positive was contact printed onto another
  9. piece of Lith to give a totally black and white negative. There
  10. are NO mid tones at all.

  14. The negative was then printed onto Multigrade at Grade 5 - hard -
  15.  to give this soot and whitewash result. Published several times,
  16. this has been a successful trick picture. It does look very
  17. strong on an exhibition wall, but it is a very good job that he
  18. had a 'fag' in his mouth !
